CSR Company International expands to Africa

The first office of the CSR Company International in Africa opened in Cairo in November  2012. This is the 14th branch of the company all over the world and opens the third continent in which the CSR Company International is represented after Europe and Asia. Now the company negotiates with possible partners in Nigeria.

At the same time the CEO of the company Martin Neureiter takes part in ISO/GIZ East Africa Project covering Kenia, Tanzania and Uganda. The main aim of the one year project is to encourage the use if ISO 26000 and to build capacity in the organizations to implement best practices. The team of international consultants chose 10 pilot organizations to participate in the project plus will be training 10 national experts per country to continue the work after the end of the project. The first country visit will take place mid January including a 5 day training for the national experts on the content of ISO 26000. A similar project is happening currently in the MENA region (Middle East – North Africa) were also the CSR Company is heavily engaged.
