Transparency leads to better performance - New EU directive for non-financial disclosure

On April 15th, 2014 the European Parliament adopted the Directive on disclosure of non-financial and diversity information by large companies and groups. Member States shall bring into force the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive by 2016. First reports in accordance with these requirements will be issued in 2017. Approximately 6 000 large companies and groups across the EU will be affected by the new directive on non-financial reporting.

ISO 26000 at Abu Dhabi Al Hosn Gas

CSR Education Center in Pune/India

Opening Ceremony of CSR Education Center in Pune, India Mr. Martin Neureiter, president of the CSR Company International was guest of honour event on April 5th in Pune, Maharashtra/India when Mitcon, the government’s own education institution, opened the first of a series of „CSR education centres“. He formally opened the premises in a celebration bringing together Mitcon Managing Director, Dr. Praveen Bavadskar, Mitcon Vice President Santosh Mathews and implementation partner Rajesh Tiwari, CEO of the Indian Centre for CSR. Among the more than 100 business leaders from Pune who attended the opening were top managers of companies like TATA Communications and TATA Motors.

Innsbruck Airport nominee for European EMAS Award 2014

Opening Ceremony of CSR Education Center in Pune, India After winning the Austrian EMAS Award for Best Environmental Report in 2007and Best Environmental Team 2013, CSR Company client Innsbruck Airport was nominated for the European EMAS Award 2014. 29 EMAS registered organisations from 14 European countries have been officially nominated in 6 categories. Innsbruck Airport was registered in the „Small Organisations from the public sector“  category. The ceremony took place in Hanover, Germany.
