Johannes Becker
After a decade in the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture – in charge of international agricultural policies -, he moved in 2003 to Romania to work in the Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy. In 2007, when Romania joined the EU, he founded a consulting company specialized in European funds and state aid projects in Romania. Today, this company is part of Stalfort, and has a rich history of achieving grants for sustainable investments: renewable energy, sustainable chemicals, production and storage of green hydrogen, investments in energy efficiency and energy storage in batteries, and many more. In addition, he wrote strategy papers such as the pathway to a sustainable Romanian chemical industry or shaping the energy transition for the Romanian industry, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and webinars.
