Anita Ramšak has a PhD in Sociology, Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation and Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences from various universities in Europe, including European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation in Venice, University of Vienna, Nova Gorica and Ljubljana. Currently, she works as a Head of Human Rights and Development Cooperation at Ekvilib Institute. Her previous working experiences include EU Delegation to the United Nations in New York and Amnesty International Slovenia. She also works as a research consultant for EU-based consultancy companies Ecorys UK and Ecorys Netherlands. In the last years, she has been intensively engaged in human rights monitoring, human rights based programming and human rights impact assessment of business and other operations. She has been working in countries as diverse as Slovenia, Moldova and Senegal. She cooperates with CSR Company on the human rights aspects of business operations.
